Within these defined parameters NLC Logistics offer value added services to their warehousing clients and will undertake tasks of unlimited complexity as a contracted continuous process or unskilled to semi-skilled tasks on a consignment basis. NLC will work in unison or in isolation of the principal, depending on the nature of the work required. The pricing mechanisms for such tasks can be on an activity basis, a labour rate plus a square meter occupation rate or the most appropriate combination.
NLC operates from regional distribution hubs strategically located in Dubai; at the Jebel Ali Port (JAFZA), As well as being the location of the main NLC distribution centre, Jebel Ali Free zone (JAFZA) is one of the fastest growing ports in the world (presently 10th largest) and the regional base for more than 6,000 companies from over 80 countries.
The NLC Logistics distribution centre comprises over 42,000 pallet locations in total out of which 18000 pallet locations for Dry Cargo, 24000 pallet locations in a temperature controlled environment and open yard facility for Heavy Duty Cargo.
Total Open yard facility is of 150000 sq feet in which 30000 sq feet for Heavy Duty Cargo and 120000 for handling Heavy Cargo & Containers
The distribution centre has been designed to support a wide variety of picking methodologies and general storage. It can also facilitates cross docking and flows through of product for rapid turnover and dispatch.
